Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of Sout-East Ironing Services website (www.topironing.co.uk), your relationship with South-East Ironing Services (herein: we, us or our) and all bookings you may make via our website. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not book with us or use our website.
1. Our website is provided to you free of charge for your personal use, subject to these Terms of Use. By using our website and services you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
2. Our website is owned and operated by South-East Ironing Services - a small family run business. If you have any queries please contact us (for contact details please see our Contacts page).
3. These Terms of Use do not affect your statutory rights.
4. Orders
4.1. There is a minimum order value of £10 per collection for orders within 5 mile from our office location in Thamesmead, and £20 for orders made in regions outside this distance.
4.2. Orders that total below this value will be charged the minimum order value of £10 or £20 accordingly.
4.3. Same-day (express) ironing orders are charged + £5.00 on top of your total bill.
5. Collection/Delivery
5.1. Collection and delivery is free within a 5 mile radius of our office location in Thamesmead. Otherwise, a delivery charge of £4.00 will apply.
5.2. Collection and delivery are available Monday to Saturday, and also late evenings and early mornings.
5.3. Items collected on Saturday will be available for delivery on Monday.
5.4 You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to arrange your collection and receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions. In the event that your delivery is damaged or lost after being handed over to yourself or delegated person, we do not accept liability. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customer; considerations of collection/delivery problems may give rise to such a refusal.

7. Parking, Conjection charge
In the rare cases when parking is necessary or conjection charge applies for the collection poin it is client's responsibility to ptovide or pay these
8. Payment methods
We accept cash payments only. We DO NOT accept cheques, credit or debit cards.
9. Service Use
9.1. Hangers, covers, baskets or boxes are supplied. These are to be returned - by new clients at delivery, by regular clients with their next collection.
9.2. No online order is accepted from you until confirmed by telephone call or text message. A contract for use of service arises on our acceptance of your order.
9.3. Where we accept a booking, we do all that we can to ensure that your booking is fulfilled. If we are unable to fulfil a booking, we will inform you as soon as possible of this and you will not be charged.
9.4. We will endeavour to warn you of any changes to the prices on our price list page. However, we reserve the right to change our prices without notice. Current prices will always be shown in the price list section of our website.
9.5. Ordering our service carries with it the obligation to pay for it unless we receive from you a cancellation of or change to your booking 24 hours before the collection time. We reserve the right to charge in full for any order unless we have received notice of cancellation before the 24 hour deadline. This deadline is important since, typically, we make up the driver schedule and ironer over 24 hours in advance, where possible. Any payments you have made for bookings which have been properly cancelled will be re-credited to you.
10. Insurance policy
10.1. Our staff adhere to a strict no smoking policy to ensure your laundry is returned fresh and crease free. In the unlikely event of any garments being damaged we will compensate to a maximum £20 per item. Each claim must be made at the time of receipt of ironed items. Any iron damaged or shiny items you include with your load will be returned un-ironed to avoid any misunderstanding regarding liability for damage.
10.2. Leather items, buttons, buckles beading and any other type of decoration is processed entirely at owners risk.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time and any changes will be notified to clients via a suitable announcement on this website. The changes will apply to the use of our website after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms of Use, you should not continue to order from us or use our website. If you continue to use our website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of this website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms of Use.
